The
company was originally founded in 1928, then in 1977
Karl Nagels became the President and took control of the
business, the name of the company was then Drukeri Karl
Nagels.
In 1988 they moved to far larger premises in Kempen, and
renamed the company Nagels Druck Kempen.
Nagels is solely owned by the
Nagels family, with Karl, and his two sons Werner, and
Thomas, running the company from the group’s base in
Kempen. Nagels employ approx. 140 staff at its
manufacturing plant, and has offices in, France,
Holland, UK, and New York, with its wide distributor and
dealer base; we are a truly worldwide ticket
manufacturer. We have our own in-house graphic design
department, plus our own plate making facility, which is
necessary to guarantee print and product quality.
In 2005 Mark Norman became managing director of Nagels Subsidiary Company,
Nagels Multi Graphics (NMG). Since then Mark has
developed the print side of the company to include not
only ticket printing and parking stationery which Nagels
have been famed for, but also into manufacturing and
supplying labels and general stationery. In 2006 the
company expanded to include a Northern Office which now
means NMG can offer high class printing products
throughout the UK. NMG is now the official agent for
PRACTICAL AUTOMATION, which means we sell and
distribute ticket printing machines throughout the UK. Nagels currently deliver
tickets to all five continents and over 50 countries
around the world, making Nagels a worldwide supplier of
quality tickets.
As ticket manufacture and
Parking and Transit equipment has advanced over the last
20 years the need for tight controls over specifications
and quality have become paramount. We at Nagels have
very close working relationships with the equipment
manufacturers, and from this we have been recognized as
approved suppliers by most, this is after going through
very stringent approval processes, where materials and
specifications are the order of the day. With these
approvals in place we can therefore guarantee a quality
product that will optimize the operation of any type of
equipment you may operate.
By working in conjunction
with the equipment manufacturers you can be assured the
constant development of products is ongoing at all
times, which means you the customer will always be using
the most up to date materials and specifications
available. |
